The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Wensum Citidel's construction back out of the project. Lelva Goodfriend pushed on reguardles, and Wensum Citidel was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Wensum Citidel was built using the conventions of Sylvin durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Wensum Citidel is no diffrent. The city's buildings feature stone brick construction with most buildings posessing towers, turrets, dormers, and wide wrap-around porches. An extreem emphasis on decorative features and emblishments can be seen even on the poorest of homes and makes even the most humble of structures seem a bit regal.

Wensum Citidel is is constructed arround a semi-circular crampt worn bedrock mainstreet, with smaller strait roads linking the circiles to eachother at varrious points. The city is the proud owner of a properly designed set of renforced walls made from mighty querried stone blocks. Their construction and material choices would make a dwarf weap with joy, for each and every part of the elaborate fortifications are purly functional and robust well byond reason. Even nonexperts can tell the walls are an excelent defencive structure. Wensum Citidel's exceptionaly well made fortifications are in an unremarkable state. To some, this is the ideal sate for defences to be in. In need of absoutly nothing, and ready to serve the city as needed.

Men, women, children, all can be seen enjoying life in a laid-back way in the many parks which line Wensum Citidel’s streets. The city is very clearly a joyfull place as well as relaxing. It emerged as a movement against traditional, classical styles and sought to make buildings dynamic and fun while breaking the rules. The style incorporated elements of previous architectural styles in exaggerated and whimsical ways. Traditional, conservative leanings were void in this era, with most scholars of architecture agreeing it was a time of “anything goes.”.

POI

History

Wensum Citidel used to be more prosperous, but something happened relatively long ago that left it a shrunken shadow of its former self. If the settlement is prosperous, the locals often lament how much more they could have had. If the settlement is not prosperous, the locals blame their ill fortunes on that event. Reminders of this better time can be found in many places within Wensum Citidel.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century a local hero by the name of protected Wensum Citidel's harvest from an army of bandits. The recitation of the hero's story remains a popular tavern and fair tale.
